A monkey kidnapped a two-year-old boy from his home in India just so it could have someone to play with and it refused to give the boy back to his family. In a video shared online, the monkey is seen playing with the boy by the roadside – the monkey is seen at a point trying to remove something from the child’s hair. A woman sees the baby and can be seen approaching to save the baby, but the monkey hugs the baby repeatedly and refuses to let it go. In the viral video, the woman can be heard saying:  “From where did you get the baby, Let me take it home.” As the woman tried to take the child, the monkey hugged the boy and refused to let the woman take him along with her. When the woman saw that her attempts to retrieve the boy from the primate wasn’t working, she retreated to assess her options. The baby is thought to have been taken from a house in Haryana, India.

A 10-year-old girl was strangled to death as she resisted a rape attempt by her tutor at Kaptai upazila in Rangamati, Bangladesh on Saturday. Police found the accused Aung Baching Mong Marma, 40, when he was trying to dump the body in a nearby jungle, said Muhammad Ashraf Uddin, officer-in-charge of Chandraghona Police Station. Police sent the body to Rangamati General Hospital morgue for autopsy and filed a case against Aung, he added. Aung attempted to rape the girl around 10:00am at his home when she went there for tuition. As she resisted and started screaming, he strangled the girl, said the OC, quoting the victim’s family members. The accused admitted his crime during primary questioning in custody, said police. The victim’s father informed the law enforcers after her daughter did not return home Saturday night.

An Indian lady, Andrea Orizu pictured below, has taken to Instagram to call out her husband’s bank account manager for allegedly snatching her husband and marrying him after pretending to be a family friend. Andrea, a mother of three who lives in Malaysia, shared photos on Instagram from her husband, Frank Orizu’s wedding to Chinelo Lilian Obiora, the banker, which held last month. Andrea said her husband had told her he had an urgent business meeting in Nigeria and needed to fly down on December 27th last year. Unknown to her, he came to Nigeria to prepare for his wedding to Chinelo. Spain and Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos who got engaged to his long-term girlfriend, TV presenter Pilar Rubio last year, has set a date for their wedding. The couple made the announcement on Antena 3 show El Hormiguero, a Spanish TV programme, where his pretty wife works. They also revealed the star-studded ceremony will take place on June 15 in Seville. Ramos said, ‘We’ve decided to get married in Seville because we’ve been in Madrid for so long now, it means there’ll be less people. It’s going to be a special wedding because we’re special.’ He added, ‘It’s a very special moment for us after being together for so long and forming such a fantastic family with three little ones who fill our lives with passion. ‘We felt it was the ideal moment and we wanted our children to enjoy it because when they were younger it’s not something they would understand so much.’ Ramos and Rubio, who have been together since 2012 have three children together.

A mother-of-four has been found dead just hours after sharing a Facebook status suggesting she had been called a “fat ugly c***” Alli MacDonnell, 36, who had four children aged 2 to 15, took to social media yesterday to write about the verbal abuse: Why is it ok for a man to call a girl a fat ugly c***?????? A 25-year-old Nigerian man, Prince Jerry, took his own life on Monday, January 28 2019, by jumping under a train in Tortona, Genoa, Italy after his request for a residency permit for humanitarian reasons was rejected, Monsignor Giacomo Martino, the head of association Migrants, said on Thursday. Martino, who is in charge of the association that helps migrants in the port-city, made the announcement in a chat group with his parishioners. The message was subsequently shared on social media Wednesday night and published by local newspapers on Thursday. Jerry’s funeral will be held Friday morning, at the Chiesa dell’Annunziata in Genoa. Meanwhile some of Jerry’s friends have taken to Facebook to mourn him.  

The Lagos state police command have reportedly apprehended a man believed to be the leader of a gay group, and a teenager for engaging in homosexuality. Prince Chinecherem, 32, is reported to be the ringleader of a gay gang who indulge in their illegal acts in Lekki, Lagos police claim. He was apprehended alongside a 16-year-old boy. According to Lagos state Police Commissioner, Imohimi Edgal, Chinecherem was using the teenager as a commercial sex worker. Not only was Chinecherem having sex with the boy, he was also pimping him out to other gay men. Edgal also revealed that both Chinecherem and the teenager were found to be HIV positive after a test was carried out, which means their customers are likely to have contracted same through them. The police have declared two prominent male pastors and some business executives wanted for allegedly having gay sex with the teenager, – a minor. A young graduate of the Auchi Federal Polytechnic in Edo state, lost his life after he was involved in a fatal accident which left others injured. According to local reports, the deceased identified as Ehis, was crushed to death after a lorry fell on his Lexus car on Saturday, January 26th at Ewu Hills, Benin-Auchi express road in Edo. It was gathered that some other occupants in the vehicle including friends of the deceased, were rescued alive. It was learnt that Ehis was a graduate of Building technology, who passed out from the institution last year 2018 and was awaiting his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) this year before the unfortunate incident which claimed his life. A man is reported to have allegedly turned into a dog after alighting from his car in Port Harcourt yesterday, Thursday, 31st January. A Facebook user who shared photos from the incident, revealed that it occurred at Garrison in Port Harcourt city, Rivers State.
